PISS OFF X is a documentary that explores the fetishism of piss play from the point of view of a gay millennial, who also practices it as an art form. Known online as “Athleticpisspig”, this fetishist expresses himself through videos posted on the internet in which he shows his performances of “water sports” with other gay men. Athleticpisspig travels the world by putting into practice its form of expression in public and semi-public places, with individuals or groups, to examine and finally break certain social norms and create a shared art form starting with piss play, a fetish that is still taboo even in the same gay communities. Athleticpisspig’s work will likely be considered in the most diverse ways: from degrading and decadent to exciting and celebratory. Undoubtedly it is a work that challenges lə spettatorə to rethink the concept of human nature that lies behind the dark world of fetishisms, asking several questions that eachə is called to answer for himself.
This documentary is at the center of an ancient question that dates back to the times of ancient Greece, traveled through the Renaissance, touched the burlesque, Eakins, Manet and Mapplethorpe: is it mere pornography or revolutionary art that deserves to be considered and criticized?
